After releasing the crochet Iris stitch in a square tutorial, many of you have approached me and asked if there is also a way to crochet this beautiful stitch in a rectangle.
This crochet iris stitch is perfect for a blanket, while working in a square is the easiest way, I know it is more practical to make a rectangle blanket than a square.

I love this stitch, and will be making one of these really soon. I need something to wear around the house for when I first get up and it is cold out and you don’t want to get out from under the covers….
