I love a beautiful textured project and working from corner to corner in crochet.
The Cornerstone crochet washcloth pattern combines both a soft and unique texture, and a different crochet stitch worked from corner to corner.
The washcloth written instruction includes both a photo tutorial and a video tutorial

I designed this crochet washcloth pattern after I released the Cornerstone C2C Blanket. The blanket is made using C2C technique, combining the the C2C Moss stitch with beautifully textured Bean stitches.
I love the result of this stitch combination so much, and I knew it would be so pretty worked with 100% cotton yarn that would enhance the texture of the stitch.
I enjoyed so much seeing this stitch worked out in this 100% cotton yarn, and couldn’t be happier with the result.
I rated this pattern as an easy-intermediate because working up the washcloth itself is very easy because you use only the Moss and Bean stitches from corner to corner.
What made me add the intermediate level is the border, where I used a round of single crochet and then a round of the Crab stitch (reversed sc), which is a bit harder to make.
You can choose to skip the last round of Crab stitch if you’d like, and you will still have a pretty crochet washcloth!

- Every 3 rows, the Beans are shifted.
- The border is optional, the pattern forms straight edges and you donโt have to add it.
- The washcloth is worked from corner to corner. You can find the video tutorial for this pattern HERE.
