Corner to Corner Crochet Blanket – Leen’s Blanket
Leen’s blanket is an easy corner to corner crochet blanket pattern with a unique and beautiful texture. I love using the C2C method and especially working with various corner-to-corner stitches, and it wasn’t different with this blanket!
This crochet blanket can be made to any size you want! Just follow the written instructions and photo-tutorial!

After I designed the Beans and Braids C2C Dishcloth, I knew I had to use this stitch for a blanket, it’s so pretty, and the “braids” create stunning lines along the fabric. But I wanted to make the braid lines a bit farther from each other so the blanket will be softer and you won’t have to work so many Beans!
The pattern might not look that easy at first, but it is actually pretty easy with a fun and relaxing repetition. I know I usually don’t tend to add a border to my corner to corner crochet blankets (like in the Across the Sea C2C Blanket), or if I do, I use a very minimal sc border (as I did in the Waves of Grain C2C Blanket). But in this C2C blanket, I wanted to add a little more depth and texture, so I added a border that uses the Bean stitches to coordinate with the blanket’s texture.

The Yarn I Used For My C2C Crochet Baby Blanket
For my blanket, I used the soft Lion Brand – Heartland yarn in the beautiful Wolf Trap shade. This a 100% acrylic Worsted (#4) weight yarn, it’s super soft and squishy and comes in beautiful different shades. This is yarn, it’s really soft and shiny, and comes in beautiful colors.
This blanket will welcome any type of fiber, my testers used both acrylic and 100% soft cotton, and their blankets turned out soft with a well-defined texture.
Also, because this blanket is worked in the C2C method, you can also use a thinner yarn with a suitable crochet hook, because the gauge is not crucial for this pattern.

How to Change The Size Of This C2C Blanket
The written instructions of this corner-to-corner crochet blanket guide you to make a 35×35″ (89×89 cm) blanket, but you can easily work this blanket to be bigger by repeating the increase section to the size you want.
What I like about the C2C technique, is that you can work your blanket as big as you’d like, as a square or a rectangle, without counting the stitches and making calculations ahead.
You can find the instructions for a rectangle-shaped blanket in the premium PDF pattern.
Here’s a crochet blanket size chart. This is just a guideline, you can adjust the sizes to your preference.
