Across the Way Crochet C2C Blanket Free Pattern

Last Updated on July 11, 2024

I just can’t get enough of the corner to corner crochet method, it’s so relaxing… No need to make a foundation chain, no need to count stitches, just crochet and decide the project’s size as you go. It just leaves the stress out of the whole process.

So in addition to my C2C Wattle stitch and C2C Moss stitch, I turned the beautifully textured Cluster stitch into corner to corner version. So if you are looking for different corner to corner crochet stitches, you’re going to love this one!

The Across the Way pattern is a crochet c2c blanket worked with Cluster stitch to create a rectangle baby size blanket (you can adjust the size to be as big as you’d like). Some fun color-work is added to create a nice effect with 3 different colors, so you’ll have some more interest in the pattern.

What Yarn Should You Use for the Across the Way Crochet C2C blanket?

I love to use mainly natural fibers for my projects, although you can use whatever yarn is suitable for you.
For this crochet C2C blanket, I usedย Comfy Worsted by Knit Picks , which was very generously provided to me by WeCrochet. This is a Worsted (#4) weight yarn, it is 75% pima cotton and 25% acrylic and is extremely soft and squishy with a wide range of colors to choose from, and unlike other cotton yarn, this one isn’t splitting at all!
More suitable yarn for this design:
Lily Sugar n’ Cream
Premier Home Cotton Blend
Knit Picks – Dishie

  • This pattern can be made in any size that you want, just keep working until you reach the desired length, and then decrease.
