To make this easy crochet blanket border, we work a round of a single crochet, then in the next round, instead of working a new round, we turn the blanket first and then work a round of front loop single crochet stitches.
The simple act of turning your blanket adds a nice extra texture to the border.

The Springtime Journey crochet blanket is a co-design blanket by Shannon from The Loophole Fox and Agat from Made by Gootie, that can be made either as a baby blanket, lapghan or a throw.
