How to Crochet the hdc V Stitch (Mini V Stitch)
The hdc V stitch is a simple crochet stitch and a great stitch to learn if you are a beginner crocheter and looking to expand your crochet stitches.
The half double crochet V stitch is also called the Mini V Stitch since it’s a smaller version of the classic double crochet V stitch.
Crocheting the hdc V stitch is very easy, the stitch is a combination of [1hdc, ch1, 1hdc] when all are worked into the ch-1 space of the hdc V stitch of the previous row.
And if you are a fan of the corner to corner method (like me), you can also work the hdc v stitch from corner to corner!

Half Double Crochet V Stitch Blanket
The half double crochet V stitch creates a soft and reversible fabric, and it’s a perfect stitch if you want to make a quick and mindless blanket.
Since this stitch is repetitive you don’t need to think much and can make this blanket when watching TV!
So if you want to create a blanket using this crochet stitch, start with a long chain with an even number of stitches, and make sure to check your gauge to know how many chains you need to start with, and just work according to this tutorial.
